Bulgogi Wraps with Ground Beef and Cauliflower Rice

Ingredients

  • • 400 g ground beef
  • • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • • 1 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
  • • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • • Lettuce leaves (butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce) for wraps
  • • Toppings: sesame seeds, kimchi, cucumber, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: Mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar and chili in a small bowl.
  2. Cook the meat: Fry the ground beef over high heat until browned.
  3. Add sauce: Pour over the bulgogi sauce and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Serve: Place the meat in lettuce leaves, top with spring onions, sesame seeds, kimchi and a little cilantro.

Tips:

  • Boost the protein level by serving with a fried egg or rice on the side.
  • If you want more of a "dirty street food" style, top with some chili mayo.
