Ingredients
- • 400 g ground beef
- • 2 tbsp soy sauce
- • 1 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
- • 1 tbsp sesame oil
- • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- • 1 tsp grated ginger
- • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
- • Lettuce leaves (butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce) for wraps
- • Toppings: sesame seeds, kimchi, cucumber, cilantro
Instructions
- Make the sauce: Mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar and chili in a small bowl.
- Cook the meat: Fry the ground beef over high heat until browned.
- Add sauce: Pour over the bulgogi sauce and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Serve: Place the meat in lettuce leaves, top with spring onions, sesame seeds, kimchi and a little cilantro.
Tips:
- Boost the protein level by serving with a fried egg or rice on the side.
- If you want more of a "dirty street food" style, top with some chili mayo.
