Ingredients
- 600 g salmon fillet
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- --- Avocado Salsa ---
- 2 avocados
- 1 small red onion
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1 lime
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
Instructions
Cut the salmon fillets into cubes about 3x3 cm in size. Place them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well and allow to marinate for 10 minutes.
Thread the salmon pieces onto skewers and preheat the grill to medium heat.
While the salmon is marinating, make the avocado salsa. Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and cut the flesh into cubes. Chop the red onion and halve the cherry tomatoes. Add these to a bowl with the avocado cubes.
Squeeze the juice from one lime over the avocado salsa and add chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
Place the salmon skewers on the hot grill and grill them for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through but still juicy.
Serve the grilled salmon skewers with the avocado salsa. Garnish with extra cilantro if desired.
Notes
Tip: If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
