This delicious dip is perfect served with homemade bread. Hummus is incredibly easy to make if you have an immersion blender, and you’ll need tahini, which is a thick sauce made from sesame seeds. You can find tahini at most international grocery stores.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Start by rinsing the chickpeas thoroughly, then blend all the ingredients together with an immersion blender until you have a smooth consistency.

Adjust seasoning with salt, garlic, and lemon juice to taste.
